My Feet

My feet
Slipped into comfortable shoes
And went for a walk, straight to the car.
They masterminded the pedals
Around the neighborhood,
To pickup a drivethru lunch,
Enjoy a little layover at the park,
And stroll around the grocery store;
My comfortable feet were happy
And liked the loitered drive back home too.

Day 19 - Write a poem based on a walking archive.

Note: I wasn't comfortable walking anywhere with this pandemic (even with a mask). Everything seemed toxic. I did my best in writing this poem. Please, be understanding towards the condition of our current times.
