The Starfish Answers

The Walrus and the Starfish talked as they strolled ‘cross the sand, and while they talked, the two friends walked together hand-in-hand.   The Starfish said, “Oh, Whiskered One, I’ve pondered things you thought, and still I haven’t found as yet the answers that you sought.   “I think the stars hang high in sky because they’re glued to stay, and pebbles sink to ocean floor because a lot they weigh.   “Whyever would a pig need wings? A silly notion, that. Where would we find some big enough to carry all that fat?   “I have no thoughts on big balloons, or why a hoof or toe. So many things in this great world that we will never know.   “Let’s focus on our friendship, and I think you soon will see, for us, the world’s a happy place when there’s a you and me.”
