The walrus and the starfish seem like unlikely friends, but there they are, hand in hand. They talk about all the things they have to think of, like why stars hand high in the sky or why pigs need to fly. So true, there are many things we'll never know. This is great and children would enjoy the whimsy in this and the pairing of the walrus and starfish. judi

This was a wonderful picture of the walrus and the starfish, damommy. I really enjoyed your words simply because they showed that the starfish didn't really have the answers but they had each other-true friends.

Hello Yvonne.
this would be an excellent poem for children. Your message is clear enough, but there may be some words you would need to change to make it understandable for little tykes. Children do well with constant rhyme and meter and your story would appeal to them, I think.
