It was a sad Easter this year. I think Orthodox Easter was yesterday April 19. So I'm curious why your title is March 18? Your poem reads very much like a diary entry and gives us a peek into your day.

Hi Helen! My Feet was written on Orthodox Easter. Saturday, March 18th was written on that date. Same weekend. Plenty events for religious people I think Thursday through Saturday. I celebrated the mass market Easter, but the calendar has this other stuff written. It's important. Thank you :)

As you can see, I am still catching up--so, I have to return to Saturday... Yes, your words capture what most of us are experiencing as we shelter in place. I am glad you had a chance to talk to your dad. Be safe and well- Joan

A very well-written poem about a Saturday that bring thoughts of despair instead of happy thoughts that Saturdays usually brings to mind. This isolation has a sad effect on all of us.

Hi Alicia. This is a confusing time for everyone so we are all in this together and wondering when it will be over. Your poem is very good. It reflects the state of upsetment we are all in. An excellent piece. Marilyn

This poem, Saturday, March 18th, 2020, covers the day in all its mundane and normal happenings. Reality has only one redeeming factor: it's something true in a world of what-you-will-swallow.

The hunkering down can be a bit aggravating for a lot of us, but I take it as a vacation. exercise, hobbies, walking--what ever it takes to keep occupied. I really enjoyed reading your poem.

Your words did flow. You managed to make an ordinary day seem extraordinary and poetic. This is a well written piece. It was easy to read and flowed nicely. Good job!

Your poem captures emotions very well, portraying how our thoughts can lead down despondent roads and become somewhat disorganised when we have time on out hands and not much avenue for variety - or maybe too much, and it gets confusing.
(I got confused about your title, then realised you must mean April, not March... suggest you change it.)

You sound a little depressed, at least I have my wife, but lots of FaceTime with kids and grandkids. You've done a good job with this poem my friend, and you're doing well with your April challenge, blessings Roy

A typical flow of thoughts while being confined in a pandemic. I am sure it reflects the experience of many. I can at least be a couch potato without guilt. Be safe and healthy.
