Well said. It is indeed disturbing to see the length to which some people are going to spread their false narrative about Republicans. History doesn't lie and unfortunately the facts are not brought to the fore. If every time someone was called a racist (who wasn't) they could sue for libel, maybe we could set things straight. Let me just say that this is a stellar essay and I agree wholeheartedly with all you say.

Thanks a lot for the exceptional review. Been absent for more than a year in this site. Sorry for this very late reply.

As one who stands outside of the USA looking in, I read this as heavy satire, but then began to wonder if it was. There's much I do not understand about the political scene in the United States and the effect it has on the people of your country.

Yes, I am an outsider and being such, I may view things objectively than most Americans. I have also my native third world country as my point of comparison in terms of Leftist indoctrination. Anyway, thanks for the generous review. My apology for some typo and grammatical slips, English is not my native language. God bless. Susan

Lady Nassus1957,
Don't let words such as diatribe disconcert. Its definition is calm enough, ...a learned discussion. You presented your feelings with little documentation, so it has to be regarded as emotion rather than fact.
This is, as stated a personal, partisan support for the president. It disregards his questionable character or ability to perform his obligations as POTUS
The problem is that too few really know what they are talking about in such an exercise. A cousin of mine in Wyoming, a state so rightist as to be the deepest of bleeding red, was fretting about miscreants posting threats to rape FLOTUS. I have never found any credible support for that claim, all hearsay, but typical of this tendency to demonize anyone questioning the POTUS.
Of course, his ire against all immigrants is hard to rationally countenance either. Though it is modified to a degree when he qualifies it to account for the good immigrants, likely such as his spouse and her family, using the then accepted procedures, now essentially abrogated.
Another is a claim that a Democratic majority in the Federal Legislature will impeach the current president as quickly as they can be sworn in. I tell them to take a deep breath. The only party that ever carried out an impeachment was always Republican. They tried twice and failed.
It is a terrible thing to say of our president, nevertheless, his speech mannerisms, expressions, and stance are those of a latter day Benito Mussolini. Bombast personified. Watch those documentaries some time if you doubt. And wonder at what is going on.
President Trump prefers all good news, anything counter to his preferences is by definition, fake news.
You might chuckle to know that I still have a political message button left over from the next-to-last last Electoral College vagary where a minority vote elected a president. It says simply, "Don't blame me. I voted with the majority." This has happened five times in our history. Probably time, as Associate Justice Ginsberg said, to review Article II Section One of the U.S. Constitution.
Occasionally, I'm challenged. My question is, "Did you vote in California?" If the answer is yes, I ask if the person voted for Trump. If the answer is yes, I tell the person that they should have stayed home, as only the majority vote counted toward electing the president. Sometimes they don't understand and I wonder what happened during the civics classes required in primary and secondary school.
Can you imagine the screams of outrage and the threats if the electoral college had resulted in a Clinton election despite Trump's cherished (and still claimed) majority?
The reasoning was cogent at the time, perhaps. Though one might wonder how the universality of, "One person, one vote," in every other electoral process, prevailed. Still, the president claims his majority vote. Or else, if pressed, he claims his majority vote was stolen due to all of those illegal aliens who voted for "Crooked Hillary."
Trump has all the instincts of a Vandal. He sees something, like our international alliances, and immediately wants to tear them down, without any of the tools necessary to improve or replace them.
He claims that the social network is a waste, even as it has already helped thousands.
The Republicans have done everything possible to thwart nearly every program proposed by Obama. Immediately following the '08 election, Mitch McConnell was vindictive enough to say he would do everything in his power to ensure that Obama would be a one-term president. Then he spent a year blocking any consideration of Obama's nomination to fill the vacancy on SCOTUS. Until, that is, after Trump nominated a candidate.
Now he is brushing aside the principle he used to block that nomination to rush the latest nominee before the midterm elections might upset the balance of power in the United States Congress.
Of course, the power to pardon is subject to abuse. I am curious how the president of this country condones, by pardoning, criminals convicted of armed insurrection against the United States of America?
The list goes on. However, if one is so blinded by their personal biases, there can be no understanding and meaningful efforts to resolve a problem.
There is a familiar cartoon from 2001. In an obviously hardscrabble rural area, a small barefoot boy asks his grandfather why he was derelict in his failure to stop the government's violations of human rights and an imposition of an unwinnable war in 2001, costing USD billions and thousands of lives when everyone knew it was personal to the president ("Everyone knows that Sadaam was a bad man. Besides, he tried to have my dad killed.")
The boy's grandfather answered that everyone was too busy supporting the president and ensuring that,"In God We Trust" was on our coins and "Under God" remained in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Knowing the history of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, it is peculiarly disturbing to visit the G.W. Bush Presidential Library and be faced with a scenario where a decision must be made. The visitor is then asked, "What would you do," from the options presented.
God, I'd love to live long enough to see the history of this administration. Blind allegiance to a person or idea led us to our Civil War, WWI, World War II, and Afghanistan/Iraq.
I'd also suggest you broaden your readings. It is a kick to take notes of the Fox and NewsMax commentators, then do some fact checking. Also enlightening, as they rarely directly answer my questions. It is almost always a fact sheet touting their beliefs and stands on unrelated issues.
Live long and write well,
Fantasist

Dear Allezw2, I am not an American citizen yet, I am a new green card holder, barely six months old in this country. I went through all the legal process and waited for two years before I was issued a US immigrant visa. I chose to follow the rules rather than break them or enter the US border illegally. I am an absorbed observer and I happen to value the conservative ideals of America. I have almost tried the clenched fist once in my third world native country but I did not like what I saw. I cannot understand why one has to throw chairs into the lobby to raise issues on tuition fee increase, when many controversial issues have been resolved through dialogue where cooler and rational heads prevail. Throwing chairs, destroying properties and burning the flag are actions too violent for me. It was my Christian faith who saved me and I will never go back to that tunnel again. My change of mind then, is perhaps similar to that of the #Walk Away Moment of Brandon Straka, or the awakening of David Horowitz, a former Marxist, raised by Socialist-Communist parents, or by Tammy Bruce, Candace Owens, Dave Rubin who are now active voices of Conservatism. I value freedom , liberty, free market economy, love of country and most of all love of God and Jesus my only Savior. Call me an ignorant fool, that's alright, I have a right to my views and I respect too, your views. My Letter to the President" post is my personal rant, and the language warning was properly indicated in all my posts, so the readers are forewarned. If it is so offending to your views, then just ignore my posts. God bless, all the best.

We do live in frightening times, where our colleges have been turned in to brainwashing centers for our youth. The sad thing is they have no idea what it even means to be a socialist. They don't know anything. It should be against the law to push an agenda in schools. Politics should not play a part in ed unless they are majoring in that area and then it should be fair and two sided. Parents need to wake up and pull their kids out of schools. Let's see what happens when there is no one paying tuition. Well said. As I said before, you are very brave. Great job. Rox

Thanks again, my friend, for your support and for resonating with my rant against Socialism. I am scared too, one reviewer was so mad at me, he wants me to go back to my country. But I responded in a nice and diplomatic way and I guess, all ends well, I hope.

    Well don't you leave us. We need more people who think like you and point out the truth. Like I said, Leftist do not like any facts pointed out to them. People believe what they want. But you should not be getting reviews with hurtful things, it is against the rules and they know it. You can report them, but I'm sure you don't want to do that, but shame on them. Hang in there dear. =}

Another sixer for you, Nassus. Kudos again to you for continuation of your letter. The school system from cradle to college is a bastion of liberal hate speak, where history is rewritten and bastardized. The only way to get through these schools with a good grade is for students to "play along" and stifle their conservative values. Militant and fringe professors have been granted jobs simply because of their radical viewpoint. Americans had better wake up or we will lose the best thing we've got--our country--to complete anarchy and chaos. Marilyn

Oh my goodness, thank you very much for the two sixers, I am deeply honored, overwhelmed and humbled. But more than this, I am super happy to meet writers who share my views. This gives me the assurance that love for true freedom is still alive in America. That gives me hope and I look forward to a greater America.

Why can't we have a graduation where people of different colors (white, black, brown or yellow) can enjoy together and celebrate as free Americans, irrespective of the pigment of their skin?

Yes, why not? I had no idea they held black graduations! How racist! Treating people as a group is always wrong. People are individuals under our Constitution and must be treated as such. Rights belong to each of us, not to groups.

Well written piece. Too bad the leftist who read it will do so with eyes and minds shut tight.

Yes, you are right my friend, the Leftists are blind. In fact, some reviewers here who don't share our views are quite mad at me. But I don't mind really, truth hurts a lot. Please do watch the YouTube videos of the Walk Away Movement, these are Americans who had an awakening and walked away from the Democrats clutches and become Conservatives eventually. It can be accessed with #Walk Away by the founder Brandon Straka. Take care. Susan

Glad to see you're on the case again. You are so right about what is happening in the universities. The young people are being taught that socialism is the way to go and that they must suppress anyone who disagrees with them. I just read that Chicago's Mayor Rahm Emanuel is allowing a highway to be blocked by protesters who are supposedly protesting gun violence. For deeds like this he gets re-elected? What happened to the rights of the people who want to get somewhere?

You made me aware of situation I didn't know about--that at Evergreen University. That is pitiful. I agree with your thought that we must not continue to nurture and relive past wounds.

I don't think Trump has any intention of giving up his fight.

You're wise to break this up into different parts, so readers can digest it better. Certainly merits six stars. We don't often have such deep thinking on FS. judi

Yes you are right my friend, the hypocrisy of the Left and the insane logic of Rahm Emmanuel is ridiculous. You can watch the YouTube video of a white female student about her anti-white experiences at Evergreen College. Thanks again my friend for the six stars. Take care. Susan

Two wonderful letters about our great President Donald Trump. Thank you so very much for writing this Letter to our great President. The words you write are very true, especially that -- "The Leftist professors were successful in producing radical Leftist zombies, chanting Leftist rhetoric, branding anyone opposed to their views as racists, bigots, Nazis, fascists, Islamophobes, xenophobes, homophobes, mysogynists and all of the endless list of Leftist vocabulary animating an imagined class oppression or resuscitating the race struggle of the past. "
These lamebrain professors really want to turn our great nation into a communist pig pen. An overthrow of the American government is what began with Barrack Obama and that is why that he, the self--proclaimed great Obama is still in the background putting down President Trump at his every single move. Once again, thanks, have a blessed week.

Again I commend you for speaking out this way, as there continues to be too much blind hatred expressed on the other side, both in words and in illustrations intended to make our president look evil or incompetent in some way. (While negative caricatures have always been part of politics, what we see today in many cases goes beyond all semblance of decency or even sanity.)

The truth is that the leftists have NO rational argument for their side. When they cannot dupe someone into accepting their fallacious utopian myth, which has NEVER succeeded anywhere it has been tried, they resort to personal attacks on anyone who disagrees -- these days, going beyond name-calling to rising threat of physical harm. Such threats must be taken seriously and swiftly dealt with accordingly, lest they erupt into the kind of mob violence that has repeatedly stained human history, from the Pogroms of Europe that went on for centuries to the Soros-sponsored riots and arson in Ferguson, Missouri (2014-2015). [We know Soros had a hand in those because afterwards some of the rioters bused in complained about not being paid as promised.]

It is important to remember that Communist regimes under Stalin and Mao alone murdered in one way or another at least one hundred million people, making Hitler's Holocaust look minor by comparison, though the Nazis were National Socialists -- NOT free market Capitalists, nor proponents of liberty and diversity. Indeed, Hitler and Stalin had a mutual non-aggression pact until Hitler was stupid enough to try to conquer Russia. (Apparently, he thought he could do better than Napoleon.)

I taught logic for three years on the way to my doctorate. I disagree that the logic on the left is "twisted" -- it is nonexistent. They are total hypocrites and either cannot see that or know it but choose to pretend otherwise. You can find stirring speeches years ago by both Chuck Schumer and Harry Reid in favor of a strong southern border, but now Schumer is determined to obstruct that. The truth is that having the issue to fight over is more important than resolving it. The Democrats care NOTHING about the children involved, or they would have solved the border issue during Obama's first two years when they had majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Fortunately, more and more Americans are realizing that Trump is actually solving problems, despite the news bias and attempts to hide his many successes in keeping his campaign promises. If enough of them turn out to vote in November, the left's imagined "blue wave" may turn out to be red.

However, until we take back our educational system from Kindergarten through colleges, leftist indoctrination of our children will remain a threat to the freedoms and security of this nation.

Once again, I am ignoring typos and other minor errors so as not to create a distraction from your important message. I prefer to bolster your arguments with supportive information.

Thanks a lot for the heartwarming support for my rants. It is a consolation that you will take my side. Today, there was one reviewer who wanted to kill me, I guess that's the content of the review. Well he actually said to eliminate me and he doesn't want me to come to America. He said America is for the white people and he does not support immigration. Perhaps he misunderstood my rants. Advise me, should I stop posting the continuation of my Letter to the President. By the way, I am using my magnifying glass to correct the typos and other errors. LOL. Seriously, should I discontinue my post? Susan
reply by WalkerMan on 08-Jul-2018
You are most welcome, Susan. I just read that review. That reviewer knows NOTHING about Trump, who NEVER would reply to you that way. He has succumbed to the leftist propaganda that you justifiably rant against. If you go read his own latest post, you will see that he is NOT a racist himself, as he believes Trump to be. Your mild response was probably wise. He is reacting to what he may be experiencing from white racists where he lives, and erroneously attributing that attitude to Trump. He is NOT personally threatening you, and likely thinks he is warning you for your own safety. Accordingly, don't discontinue your posts -- just be careful how you express your points. -- Mike
