Ricky1024: As we now are approaching the halfway mark for January 2022 we're dealing with many issues here at Fanstory.
Wanted a major concerns is this recent strain of COVID-19 Pandemic Virus-Crisis.
I posted an article about how to protect ourselves and everybody else recently.
I believe education is the key to solving this one.
Sorry now for now they're still war and other issues going on in other countries.
As human beings we are constantly going to be working on that one.
On the home front we have to be more concerned when it comes to feeding those who are struggling and those who are homeless giving them shelters.

Ricky1024: As we enter begin the month of December in the year of Our Lord 2017 approaching a change to the year 2018 our thoughts must go in the direction of the birth and this birth months of Our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ and as we do so we shall honor him multiple Sabbath Sundays we shall honor him with multiple sacraments and we should chill and then turn be blessed by him as we are forgiven for our sins for the entire and past year so let's move forward with these thoughts in mind and as we leave year 2017 and approached the year 2018 see what kind of change as major writers here on this site we can make to benefit all those who who love to share I say these things in the name of course of Jesus Christ amen talk to Ricky 1024

Ricky1024: did you know here on fan story if somebody gives you a full review you're supposed to say thank you and put up with it and then if they continue to do what you are supposed to block them but they only allow you to be able to block 3 people now have you ever had and been through an experience like that and you wonder why somebody ignorant especially if they're new here who has no posted all can review so cruelly so callously and why if you if they do ever posted you do the same thing back to them why on this site that you will be victimized the complainer hear that complains to Tom gets creditation ok no matter what the situation is because they can go back and unless you apologize and then you will be banned from either riding or revealing I've been banned for reviewing now won at least one month possibly longer and so that means that anything that you want to promote they want you to spend money on your credit card to promote it which I will never do I've already spent too much money in 4 years on this site and I've already apologized for things that I have not done the wrong I will not apologize anymore I want everybody here to realize the cruelty of the administrator on this site, should be fired I hope somebody in the thority besides him read this and actually has the balls to put to respond to a message I've already sent out three messages and got no responses back just a thought Ricky 10:24 and everybody have a wonderful spring
    Cry the Vile Rebel: I agree that no one should be cruel on this site, or anywhere else, for that matter. I cannot agree that we should be able to use reviews to "do the same back to them."

    Some folks use reviews as a forum to dicuss the subject a posted piece addresses. Some folks trade a scant 25 word "review" for site dollars. A few brave souls will take the time to offer honest, constructive criticism. Some writers take CC as an insult, but I rarely feel that is the intent.

    It takes a bit of bravery to put your creations out there for public view. Not everyone reviews with a delicate hand. In my opinion, the very best reviews are those that attempt to help the writer grow as an artist, or that allow us see our work through a fellow writer's eyes. The writing of such a review takes a bit of time and effort. I view thes as the gift they are. We posters gotta take the compliments with the criticism. No one has to say "thank you," or even refrain from grumbling under our breath in disagreement. But really, every reviewer has a right to an opinion, and by posting here, we invite folks to give what is, after all, only one person's opinion.

    Just my thoughts on a subject I have given much thought to.

    And I suspect that Tom is not only administator of this site, but also owner. He gets to make the rules; they are well spelled-out from the get-go.

    In the end, I am sorry that you have been hurt. You have gone through much and lost much. I hope no one here intentionally added to your pain. I honestly doubt that many have.

    I think that you have given reviewers an insight into what you would like to hear from them with this post. I do think, however, that you are sacrificing a valuable tool meant to help us writers improve our craft. The threat of retaliation in the form of a negative review from you should go a long ways towards reducing the numbers of reviews you have to retaliate against. My wish for you is that you continue to find healing in your writing. Take care. CtVR -

Do not wear your heart on your sleeve, Accept criticism gracefully. I do not know what powers Tom has but he is probably just trying to make a buck and encourage "good" poetry while doing it.

    Hi Ricky, I'm really looking forward to spring myself, and hope it heralds brighter harvests. I do feel that getting reviews is the greatest joy and gift of nourishment through this site - but sadly, there are true difficulties because of great diversity of expertise, experience, goals, needs, expectations, and simple human becoming all around.

    I admit I review not from any academic, literary, artistic or writer?s standards, but for the content and meaning for me personally. And, I value your sharing in this light. With time far too limited to read anything that does not nourish my journey in passing, the reviews I get, and those I give, will remain treasures of the Way of Christ in our World today. Not an easy Way, but I hope, you continue to bless all through eternity with the courage of your love, embodied as you transcend the cruel crucifixes of The Way inspired by God's new life creating words of your heart, and depth and heights of your precious mind in sharing and friendship.
