I was in our local grocery store early this morning. Inside it is a flower shop. I always take a stroll through. This morning the beautiful daisies caught my eye. They always viewed them as a simple flower, but for some reason, today, for the first time, I realized how absolutely beautiful they are. I know you have sunflowers in this photo, which is beautiful too, but your poem brought me back to the daisies. Yes, I'm strange.

I wanted daisies but the sunflower pictures were prettier. Any flower would be good but daisies are very pretty.

A perfect Haiku made all the more profound by the artistic effects of the
background.
Each carefully chosen word was a perfect fit.

"Flowers" is a 6/7/4 Haiku rich in Theme and Imagery.
It also, read well and Flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
...
Note: Sunflowers are known as a sign of friendship.

That picture of the sunflower reminds me of the attack on Ukraine. Yes, their spirits are strong and they will not be bullied by Putin's madness. Lovely poem!

What a beautiful haiku, Gypsy. The dual picture was amazing with the two daisies amid all the rubble. Your words seemed to tie it all together. The second picture just added the finishing touch. Blessed be n hugs!!!

I love this. It demonstrates the resilience of flowers and it also relates to life. We can either be joyful amidst the ruble or not. It's our choice. We need to learn from nature. Very well done.

Hi Gypsy, it's amazing where you may find a flower or a tree grow. I remember living in NYC, and a tree was growing between the cracks of the sidewalk. Where the tree came from was a mystery??? The tree did not survive. Someone plucked it out. Great photo choice. Daisies are warm and welcoming flowers. Well done. Xo. M
