Oooh! Those are so cool! And those nocturnal insects do a lot for pollinating plants that bloom at night. I like that you use both "moon" and "luna" in tis poem.

The lesser moon we need to crescent moon lunar moth all work well with this haiku..
Rich in Theme and Imagery with nice Art.

Some years ago I was visiting my daughter and saw this most beautiful creature alight on her porch railing, within the glow of her porch light.
I had not encountered something so ethereal and did not know "Luna Moth" existed. That is the only one I've ever seen ~ and your wonderful 3/7/3 haiku brings back the thrill of that night!
