I hadn't noticed the title of the book before, but I think it's great.
The situation you describe is one that takes place time and time again and I'm sure many people will be able to relate to this.

Half your Heart and Soul.
And, you would do most anything to stop the hurt.
Thus was an excellent example well written and carrying an important message.
Love with all your might.
Yes, when your most positive.
That the next time that Love is Right.

Another fine poem, Gypsy, and a profound one. One that can never apply to me, as I'd burn up in a jealous rage thinking about it. I remember how I felt as my marriage fell apart and their was nothing I could say to save it. I'm rambling but that feeling of being replaced killed me, or at least that's how I saw it, and I'll never allow myself to feel that way again, ever.

(The pain of it all. There are some things in life that a person cannot (or should not) do part-time. Being a part-time lover is one of them; being a part-time parent is another one.)
