Well-written and presented NAANI. How true, what the humans wrought upon themselves, the river still flows although polluted by the aftermath of war.
Best wishes

So true. Mother Nature doesn't know what mess humans have gotten themselves into. It just remains itself. Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem with us. I enjoyed reading.

Yes. It is not God nor nature.
It is human nature to identify friend and foe.
The sweet river simply quenches all.
What an important perspective!

I like your Naani poem- good picture presentation very colorful- I like the theme idea for the Poem- dimensional thought- friend and foe's using the same river independent of philosophy- nature not involved with such things- nice- good job

What a great naani, Gypsy. You are absolutely correct, nature does not know the difference of war and peace. I really enjoyed your two pictures- of the river and of the blue rose. Blessed Be n Hugs!

That's a very biblical concept that the Lord sends His rain on the righteous and unrighteous. In the same way, the river provides water to all the people regardless of their relationship to each other.

Hi Gypsy, time goes by, wars go by, and still the river runs the same,
comforting all, welcoming all through all the trials and tribulations of
life. If only people could be more like a river, what a beautiful world
this would be. Well chosen photo. A poem to ponder. Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer

You emphasize here what we have always known, there are no natural divides between friend and foe in the field, only the orders of generals. It makes me remember footage of the unofficial Christmas truce tha the foot soldiers called in the First World War. Nicely done. Kate xx
