Aw, just loving this one. God loves color. I guess that's why we do too.

U is a British thing, I suppose. I have no issues with this. I love all my British friends. Sending you my best today as always,
Sal XOs....

Imagine a life without colour? I enjoyed your fun presentation bringing the black and white with added colour. Great rhymes here Debra. The mantis shrimp has 16 colour receptives, compared with 3 in humans. Much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Your poem is AWESOME, Debra. I love the great feeling I get from reading it. The color scheme is fantastic. I like how you went from the monochromatic to the burst of colors at the end with great examples. I know how difficult it is using advanced editor to make those letters the various colors--so kudos to you. Your poem has a great and true message.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

This is a wonderful poem that shows the importance and prevalence of color in the world. Your use of colored fonts and the grey and white font otherwize shows the oppostition. It must of taken a lot of work to keep changing the color to match the object in the color. I like the alliteration you uses.
Keep writing and stay healhy.

Your concise, skilfully and creatively composed poem makes me smile. You have used vivid, specific details and a joyous tone, celebrating colors and how they affect us.

How very clever this write! I loved reading it and about you. I am growing old, but am moving to an assisted living where I have been told there are raised gardening beds....my old heart is pumping for that. I was always a gardener and can't wait.

My fingers are tingling as we speak - tomatoes first!!

Can't beat tomatoes! I have some on the go... I also have runner beans, squashes, cabbages, brussells sprouts, courgettes, onions and leaf beat planted - all still seedlings at the moment. I'm also trying my hand at sweet peas this year :)
My Grandad would be delighted that his love of gardening has rubbed off! x

Well - these are raised beds for we in wheelchairs, so I imagine my mind will want more than my capability...I had huge garden and compost heap...oh I miss it so and will thank the Lord for whatever I am allowed...

Imagine how good those tomatoes will taste, when planted and nurtured with so much love and enthusiasm x

Guaranteed that most people are unaware that we create color in our own brains. The eyes interpret monochrome visions and convert them to colors of the rainbow like a prism separates white light.

Cultural programming works the same way. We formulate our reality from false values, false belief, fiction, folklore, genetic content, etc. Very few egos will ask themselves WHY they do what they do.

The hoi polloi is hypnotized to serve the interests of the Powers that Be.
The common thread among those hypnotized is the fact that they know WHAT to do, but have no clue of how their actions will affect others.

So very true, Debra. Colours really do make the difference between day and night.

Your metre and rhymes are spot on, and your colour coordination brings home the message. Children of all ages will love it.

Another fine addition to your NaPo book. :)

You made your point well not only with your well rhymed pentameter quatrains. But you visually make your point by painstakingly coloring some of the letters just right!
