Cogitator: Watch this...

All we need is love.
Dean Kuch: I'm a dark person afraid of the light. Ask yourself, have you ever seen a blanket of twinkling, shimmering stars in a sun-filled sky? No, it's impossible, for in order for those stars to shine, there must be a complete and total absence of light... -

Cogitator: I corrected "right-right"

Cogitator: I need help with the development of chapters upcoming. I hope you take the time to join in...
alsaleh: I am still reading your book in progress. Have not reviewd but I will soon. It work. Don't stop.is good -
alsaleh: Don'tg know how the sentence got twisted like this. I will try again: Good work, don't stop. (Not don't stop is good) Blunders are good for a laugh ofr two -

Cogitator: I have to show myself after all your comments. Thanks to all...John
    redrider6612: HUH? -
    MacNizzle: Well, hello... :) -
eyesthatsee: what about those that write as two
    not for the noteworthy
    but for the reality
    of being heard
    instead of seen
    popularity is not
    what others make
    it out to be
to write and to be heard
is worth more than to be
    noted and unheard ...

you make some valid points even if they don't complete stretch far enough ... eyes -
Narvik: Hey Cog, funny, but that's kind of how I pictured you. Nice to put a face with your stories and poems. Been good to have you aboard. (I'm one of those guys vying for the top, but hope you still like me) ;-) -

Cogitator: It has become quite obvious that the people on top of the leader boards are only vying among themselves for whatever recognition they can gather. How pathetic! If you assign your value to what others say, you are hopeless. Get creative, get real and stop relaying the same pap over and over. Creativity is what is needed.
MacNizzle: Meh. Let em. They pay, too - a lot. What's important is that you get what you need out of FS to grow as a writer. Lot's of creative peeps here, sprinkled throughout the rankings. :) -
Cogitator: Thanks for the attitude check..Mea culpa. -
MacNizzle: I think a lot of people feel as you do at some point. I know I did. No worries. :) -
barkingdog: Remember in high school, the popular kids, the thespians, the chorus, the kids with pocket protectors, etc. Today we add the terms nerd, geek, goth, emo etc. We are all here. Some interact, some clash, some find their safty in 'their' current identity. FS gives us a chance to interact among ourselves, outside our comfort zones which we find in the real world outside cyber identity. We are safe here from sticks and stones. Words are merely a clashing of identity. I praise FS for giving us a world of choices. To listen or ignore, to understand, not to always accept, to be free. -
    Cogitator: To learn... -
kiwigirl2821: I guess I found this statement offensive because I am relatively high on the poetic scale and I work at it. I don't ask for favors or for anything. I write from my heart every single time and I don't know, but what you said at the top of this felt like I should somehow be ashamed for going for my best work every single time...
    -
Badger_29: Ascending viewpoint it's like the end of political spectrum, Democrats and Republicans. I am more independent leaning toward Independence -

Cogitator: Being ignorant of how much this site has to offer, I will start using my page to communicate more. For those of you who have read my essays, you may already know that they will be fleshed out in greater detail as chapters in "From Now On."

The book will resound in the same theme of communication. That theme is taken from "The Four Agreements" by de Ruiz. They are:

Be impeccable with your word
Never take anything personally
Never make assumptions
Always do your best

It is a fantastic journey already...John
Moonlith: Ok, I'm a perfectionist. But I take things personally. I hate assumptions. And I am very conscientious. I guess 3 out of for ain't too bad. -
    Moonlith: I meant 4. Does this mean I ain't conscientious? LOL -

Cogitator: Unbelievable how addictive this site is. Does anyone ever communicate outside this realm? The feedback is great, but it would also be great to have group chats some time.
Amicus: Have you been in the forums? -
Cogitator: No. I will check it out. Thanks... -
Dr.Awkward: I agree, live chat would be cool. -
Deorre Leonard: Hi John just stopped by to check things out. -

Cogitator: he truth of the matter is that there is no matter
Cedar: Welcome to this site. Have fun and enjoy yourself. If I can help, just let me know. Bill -
Matoshka: Welcome. This is a wonderful place, with many wonderful people. Enjoy! Blessings. -
misscookie: I'm reading your work. I find it very uplifting. We need that in the world today
God bless you and yours. -
simonbagh: to look does not mean to see -
sgalletti: I'm impressed! And, I'm looking forward to getting to know you better as well. Chiming in on the welcome to the site...and you will love the experience! Hugs, Sue -
dejohnsrld (Debbie): I would like to welcome to the site as well! Debbie -
