That was really good, Carol. I'm beginning to believe you can write about ANYTHING! Not only that, but you write them all so well! The ending to this one made the hairs on my arms stand on end. Sara got to see her again. This was brilliant, my friend. Well done. I'll have to have a look at this site. Well done, my very talented friend. Love and hugs, Sandra xxx

Thank you for sharing this club entry with us. Yes, watching out a window one does see interesting things. Not quite as interesting as Sarah saw, but yet interesting. This is a good write.

That was really chilling, Carol and I thought you painted the scene really well. I really felt chilled when it was revealed to Sarah that there isn't even a house there. An excellent, well written piece, I really enjoyed reading it.

This is very well written for the club event and I enjoyed very much listening to it. It flows so very well when it is read about you're so story is very well put together and very well thought out. May you have a wonderful day and may you keep on watching Others as they put together their work as well. Patricia.

Carol,

This is a great take on the girl in the window. The story was spooky and and held that eery feel throughout the story. It's a story that makes you take pause and think about it.

Well done my friend

Cecilia

Now see, carol.
I thought you didn't do creepy.
I love this, well written, and imaginative and had me right to the last word.
I love the twist at the end with Sarah now at the window, hands pressed to the glass.
Perfect.
I think maybe I should join this group thingy, looks like it might be fun.

PS; I am not sure, but I just looked at the club thing and it says poem?
I still love yours though, of all that I have seen based on this picture, it is awesome; and the only one that got 6 stars :-)

Scroll down and underneath the poem one is prose.... I'm sure you can write one much better than me. Go for it!
    HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!
May you be blessed with the luck of the Irish and a pot of gold.

Now I understand the scent of smoke and wax in the air; I didn't understand the wax part until the end.

This was super creepy, Carol. Kinda gave me goosebumps!

I'm glad you were able to participate in this club event. That picture sparked a lot of creativity in a lot of people here.

Great write!

Yeah, it didn't hit me that I was a step ahead of myself with that sentence, but probably most didn't even realize it. I gave it my best shot...by turning the real creepiness back on Sarah, I think....Wuth her being the one at the window. You have been so extra kind. thank you so much.
    Smiles, Carol

Your story sent a shiver down my spine Carol! I usually enjoy some ghost stories but this contains some horror here, a well written and chilling tale, much enjoyed, love Dolly x x x

I'm not too much into writing horror and I definitely don't care to watch it, but I thought leaving Sarah standing at the window, watching was a good twist. Thank you so much.

Eerie and mysterious, but a fascinating and chilling read. You are excelling with such writes as these, full of description, always with the right feel and tone, and you leave us with that same unsettled feeling of horror and panic as Sarah experienced. Very well done.

Sarah is stranger than the ghost girl. I half expected her to try taking a photo with her phone, as so many people do now. Interesting that we don't see what Sarah does during the daylight hours but withholding that keeps the mood going. A good tale reminds me of those Poltergeist and Amityville movies.
