1. Live in the NOW (stop looking backwards or worrying about tomorrow). I do this too often, which keeps me feeling frustrated and sad. 2. Do what pleases me and only me and refrain from discussing my options with others. The various opinions only keep me stagnant. 3. Recognize that while others are hustling to and from jobs that they hate, I have the opportunity to craft a brand new life for myself doing only what I want to do. Last month, I got in my car and drove 13 hours to see my daughter and I stayed for a month. I am deciding to go to NY and stay with my best friend for a month. I have been blessed with two part-time jobs (online writing and online tutoring) which allow me to be where I decide to be. So, I'm trying to get myself into a better head space. Thank you for your suggestions. I have made the edits. - | ||

Pam Lonsdale: I'm a retired fitness professional living in North Florida with my husband. I've been writing since I was 8 years old and, now that I have the time, I enjoy entering contests like the ones on this site and taking writing classes at the local college. When I'm not writing I'm reading, knitting, taking pictures with my Nikon to share with family and friends, training for and running marathons, practicing yoga, weight training at the gym, and enjoying the many fabulous restaurants in this area. Oh, and there's the beach - I'm only 4 miles from it. |
