Free Verse Quartets and One Line Haiku

* Opposites Attract *

I’m nothing more than a spotlight over the shadows you leave behind and tales of your charm and grace set my imagination ablaze
I wait in vain for your presence as my unrequited love withers at your feet while you live on the other side of the world I exist on the long night of my soul
moon’s love for the sun dies in the dark

FREE VERSE QUARTET lowercase and no punctuation in four lines

ONE LINE HAIKU, is similar to a monostich poem. In Japan, haiku are traditionally printed in a single line, while haiku in English are written in three lines and 17 syllables or less. Haiku includes a comparison between two images by placing them adjacent to one another, we arrive at a more profound understanding of the nature of each part. wikipedia
