6. Privacy
by Debra White
There will be nothing nicer than, when I need to ‘go pee’, to close the door behind me and be sure of privacy. To know I have some time and space to sit and do my thing, without the fear of anybody bleedin’ bargin’ in. Fixed to the bathroom door, we have a simple, little lock - I use it ev’ry single time, my kids, it does not block. If they need my attention and they need it then and there, they turn the lock from t’other side; crash in without a care. They will not wait one moment ‘til I’ve finished what I’ve started and honestly, it’s making me frustrated and mean-hearted. --- I’ve bought a heavy-duty bolt to keep the buggers out. My privacy will be restored - The kids can scream and shout! |
Oh, to use the bathroom in peace!

In my part of the UK (Yorkshire), our local dialect is quite broad and we often miss out bits of words that we shouldn't!
