Mithma: Hey! 'My grandgather's grand daughters' (in my portfolio) has won the third place in the island wide competition it was sent for. |

Mithma: I was selected from my grades (from about 450 pupils) to recitate for 'light of Asia' contest organized by YMBA. This is for a provincial contest. Problem is that I don't have an Elocution teacher. Do you think that I can do it on my own? |

Mithma: We went to 'Vilpattu' (The land with lakes); a wild life sanctuary situated in the North West direction of the island, famous for leopards, bears and birds, last weekend. It is fantastic and found the climate soothing inside the jungles though this is in the dry zone at its worst. I actually visited the place they say that prince 'Vijaya'(as in my poem 'thambapanni', in my portfolio) had landed. I touched that miraculous sand that leaves your palms copper red even after washing. |

Mithma: Oh! I've been to Bangalore to participate in a swimming meet last week and spent some of my happiest days there. I loved everything I saw and everybody I met including the 'bronze' I won in '800m free style - junior category'. I find India as a fast developing country yet keeping its own identity. Fabulous clothing, giant shopping malls, reckless driving... yeah! I love it all. |

Mithma: I became vegetarian since my last birthday. But I take whites of eggs, cakes and milk. Mecical advise is to eat lots of meats in order to keep high iron reserve and protein balance because I'm involved in sports. What do you think? |

Mithma: I just got my holidays! |

Mithma: Hi! I'm going to be 14 soon. |
