Simple and direct in its message, yet thought provoking. Why wouldn't we all choose to have a beautiful day? How much of it is in our control? The use of the title is clever, adding meaning without adding length. The poem gives us an invitation, not a direction, which again suggests it is our choice to create the type of day we have each day. Thank you for sharing.

There are those of us who end up with entirely different plans than to have a good day.
Where I work I wish others the same and I get back...it is what it is. I am still trying to figure that one out.lol

I get your point exactly. Some just never even think about having a good or beautiful day,
and drudge through so many distractions and stresses, they miss out. At least you
are one of the aware ones that notice the difference...as you well put it...'it is what it is'.
