I'm glad to have your artwork back, but sorry it's a photo of the submerged park! I admired your 5-7-5 with rhyme. Hope there's been a break in the weather- Joan

Hahahaha!!! I bet the kids would LOVE that if only their parents and the authorities would get out of the way and let them just PLAY!!! *smile*
But -- nooooo-- everyone's all worried about being 'safe' and staying 'alive'. Blah blah!!
Thanks! Fun!

Awe well, that playground was designed great. Too bad they didn't place it in a safer weather condition area. I initially laughed at the irony of poem and picture. Good poem.

I have three thoughts about this happiness because it rained, sadness because the children's playground is under water and the last thought it should have been built on higher ground

The weather gives us more ironic twists than O. Henry.
Some more tragic than ironic.
I like your gentle, tongue-in-cheek complaint.
You have perspective.
Peace, Lee

LOL! Inspiration can be found in just about anything anywhere. You have managed to turn an annoying deluge into something lots of fun. Nicely done and thank you very much for sharing it.
