Hi, Bill.
I can't recall exactly what's required in the tanka form, so maybe add some explanatory notes?
This is an interesting and thought-provoking analogy.
At least a horse and a cow can look each other in the eye, and even exchange glares or kisses if they wish, but that would be difficult for a giraffe and a zebra, and maybe that's what you're implying. ;-)

this is a tanka and if I'm wrong I believe it means five sentences I'm not sure that the perimeter of the symbols on them but the I'm not sure if it follows the same as a 5-7-5 haiku you know it assembled or set up that way but they're correct me on that anyhow enough good work here Ricky 10:24 and be sure to catch my newest piece Jason Slaughter which is on the front page of fan story on its way so in all time best wizard 10 years ago that's why he's going to wake up and Shake Up This fence or it will never be anything that dramatic I tell all my female reviewers to grab a box of tissues I even had one of the top right male review were saying he started to cry because he he could not imagine losing his son but thanks for the thought in 24 hour
