A great poem that has the shape of that fun tree. It posed for your picture well, Excellent job,Tom. Sorry for the late review, but I've been busy with a compilation of short stories and poems I'm working on getting published.

Fascinating little piece this. Full marks for spotting the thing in the first place and more marks for the lanterne which you have not hidden under your bush. Please pardon an awful misquote from the good book!

A very pretty picture, and the poem fits the photo like a mirror image. The worgding is perfectly fitting the tree as well. An interesting form of poem

I agree with you that your poem resembles the bush. The words used depict the tree beautifully. I found the style of your poem interesting and found that with just a few words you captured the reader's interest. I also enjoyed the frankness of your words.

I liked the "posing" bush and your Lanterne poem mimicking its shape. Thank you for sharing your cheery find and imagination. I had not realized the form is a member of the Cinquain family--did Crapsey use it as well? Enjoy your Sunday evening- Joan

Thank you Joan. I'm not sure is Crapsey did them, or they came after. I have to do more research on that.

I think they came after, but I'm sure your research will be interesting. Smiles- Joan
