The beauty of nature and that wonderful place is captured well in this verse. I especially liked these words:
"We walk in wonder,
Engulfed in such peace we've never known,"
That's what I call real walking. Well done, Tom.

I would love to walk in a Japanese garden, I have only seem them in magazines. You are lucky to have a one close to you. This is a lovely poem, Tom, and I particularly enjoyed your authors notes too. I really must read up about Buddhism. A pleasure to read, my friend. xsx Sandra.

Thank you Sandra. Yes, it is a blessing. I love going there. They have a little tea house there too.

This is a well crafted and quite effective style.
The image is great and complements the descriptive poem well.
I imagine it takes some time to get the format just right but it has certainly been worth the effort here.

The photo you took is absolutely beautiful, and the poem inspired by the same scene is equally beautiful. I like this form, though it seems so complicated, I'm sure it is not easy to do. "We walk in wonder" seemed like the perfect line to be repeated in this poem. The rhymes are graceful and always appropriate to the sense of the poem. I enjoyed this very much.

Thank you Adonna. I appreciate the complements. It's not too bad to do. I always think about what i want to say, lay out the line counts and rhyme scheme in the left hand column, decide on my repeating lines, start the first couple lines, then enjoy where the rhymes and format takes me. Its always an exciting adventure.

As pure as thoughts that poets plunder...And like you, though it may not seem like it, most of my pure thoughts are also plundered from nature. Japanese gardens are special as they mirror the same sense of timelessness as nature in its wild glory.

The Japanese are right! Thank you for capturing the "beauty" in your own, mesmerizing Nonogram form and adding your striking photograph. I thoroughly enjoyed the repeats and rhymes. You transported me to "walk in wonder". I only wish I had a six to award this splendid work. Bravo! -Joan
