And today, Tom, you taught me yet another form of poetry ... the cameo.
I love the slivers of rhyme you've seasoned it with.
Gorgeous photo - talented photographer!

My husband was a photographer and photo historian, and yes, I accompanied many times as he searched for the light during the golden hour. Thank you so much for a stunning photo and for giving me such a lovely memory.
love the gets/silhouettes rhyming and the beautiful alliteration in setting sun silhouettes
beautiful descriptive detail of setting and you create such an upbeat, celebratory mood :-) Brooke

Hi there,
Not only is the Cameo in perfect form, with an outstanding message, but the photo presentation is ideal. Congratulations on capturing the perfect 'golden moment'.
I enjoyed this one so much. Thanks for sharing.

G'day Martin. The picture is worth a thousand words but you managed to dexcribe it in just a few, well done. This is an interesting form of poetry and you did a good job with it. Cheers Fez

Your cameo presents a graphic word picture in consonance with your chosen artwork. As you suggest, it is a form well-suited to such paring, as in greetings cards. Apart from your rhyming, which is a definite enhancement, I found the carry-over alliteration of setting sun / silhouettes and escapes / enchants helped to give this short poem shape.

Hi treischel. When I read the words and looked at the photo, my heart melted. You gave meaning to the words with the picture and gave meaning to the picture with the words. Loved it! alf

The image and words convey the message well.
A Cameo poem is not a style I am familiar with but I can see that much can be
said in a fixed format style when thought and planning are used.
A lovely golden hour sunset image.

A pretty sunset, lovely artwork, Tom;
Well-penned dedication to the day's completion;
Nice alliteration provides good visual imagery;
"mellow glow"--my favorite descriptive line.
No finer way to complete the day than admiring what the skies have to offer.
A nice poem--a pleasure to read.
