True, retailers and store owners decorate their stores to lure people in to buy. And you've stated your weakness in the notes. I won't also fail to mention your expression which added to your unique style and potential in poetry.

The picture also bodes well for it.

But the category of the poem is still to me questionable.
I do feel it should go to humour or letter and diary, not commentary and philosophic poem.
But if you disagree. I won't contest if you can point the fact out.

Finally, the poem is a beautiful piece!

We also have wonderful flowers in beautiful colourful arrays, also, some pretty amazing hanging baskets. I think it is wonderful that shop keepers and councils do this to brighten up an otherwise dull shopping trip. Excellent poem, my friend. xsx Sandra

This really brings a touch of Spring to the air! Temptation was ever thus. There is something quite uplifting by the well-landscaped streetscape and elegant shopfront. Nicely penned. A poem with a most satisfying shape and rhythm despite its free style.

Yes, some places spruce up their storefronts quite fancy. I am just as likely to purchase my wares from a local owned store...or even a second hand one. Still, it is nice that they decorate so nicely!
