A rather nice verse and it flowed quite well. It was an easy read and it bring pleasant thoughts to mind. You're right, "The season go by in a blink", so too do the days of our lives. I didn't see any typos And it doesn't need any revision. Good luck! Jim

Nicely done. You chose the right time to be in the right
place. Aren't you glad you went? You got a lot of inspiration
from that trip. Of you three poems, I like this one the best.

What an awesome and beautiful sight these majestic trees all dressed in colour provide. Certainly a feast for our eyes.
I like the free verse format which does do exactly as you state-allows the words to speak for themselves .
The image choice complements the words perfectly.

I am so glad you captured the show--again, it reminds me of our recent trip and how lucky we were to see Fall colors in prime time. I enjoyed your alliteration of "d's" and the wonderful "chandelier" metaphor plus the use of sound. Happy Halloween- Joan

You have used a free verse form that I haven't seen before. It works very well to highlight certain lines for greater effect.
Of the poems of yours that I have read so far, this one is my favorite. It is eloquent, seeing the change of season through a magical looking glass that magnifies the colors and crystalline feel of autumn: beautiful, fragile, crisp. The beauty ends way too soon. Thank you for sharing. Beautifully written.

An interesting metaphor to describe the magnificence of the tree in all its autumn glory. It is as if the light has been turned out when the leaves fall leaving just the bare branches. Especially dramatic when it happens at the hand of Jack Frost who has a way of cutting all the leaves simultaneously.

good to see you tackle free verse again. this is really good, your metaphor of chandelier creating a perfect visual. needless to say, really good use of alliteration. poof//it's gone//a season in a blink - and it is that impermanence that makes it so precious. excellent!

Great photo by you, that complements your poem very well. It is a free verse with mainly alliteration. About the Autumn leaves and how they blew away.
