Another great chapter. I really like how you show Rory with his peers. You captured kids perfectly at this age, the competition, and the feelings of frustration when one comes from money and the other doesn't. Rory's fantasy is great, and shows so well his feelings toward Boyd.

A major theme is meaningful, that of social jsutice. More than ever before, you depict your character, Rory, as a victim of poverty with the many disadvantages. For example, no car and social status to beat Boyd in rivalry for cassie.

A wonderfully written 'rich boy ,poor boy' story, every character is well drawn and the dialogue is perfect, I found myself standing in that hallway when Boyd walked past with Cassie, Great writing.

Oh, I hope he doesn't do something stupid but it is looking bad for him I am afraid. He is so impressed by Cassie he will get into trouble I'm afraid. The trouble is it might not even impress the girl at all. Kids just don't think things out do they. Nancy

I've been a little concerned that the subject got totally dropped from the moment his dad suspected all was not "right" with the damage to his truck, until now. I believe I even asked you something about it ... whether I might have missed a chapter.
At any rate it looks like it's gonna come to a head Saturday night.
but if any body's worth it, Cassie Willows is.[but if ANYBODY'S worth it..." >> unless you're emphasizing Cassie's BODY.]
