Great poetic work and accompanying art work. Welcome back, I can relate to your note about popping in and out of writing consistently as I do the same thing due to health issues. Thanks for Sharing your work

Thank you for the review and the five stars.
Yes, when you are sick or hospitalized, you have to address that first and then pick up where you left off at.

So well composed. This verse expresses a beautiful sentiment, true faith celebrating the glory of God. The choice of imagery and concise language works well for this reader, as does the graphic. Keep on writing.

A beautiful picture, and some very nice thoughts. Jim Vecchio has covid again. Send your prayers his way.
Instead of going in for out patient surgery, he is stuck in his room suffering. Please pass this along. Karen

Thanks for the review and the five stars.
Yes, I will do that, say a prayer for Jim Vecchio. I hope he goes to hospital before it is too late, and most of all wear a mask and
santize. I got sick last fall, had an operation and now I am trying to say alive.Inother words "on death doorsteps." I have to eat, like anybody, healthy foods.

I will send up some prayers for you too. All of us on here have suffered ,or are still suffering with our various ailments. What happened to our "golden Years"?

This was an enjoyable poem to read. I caught some 'p' alliteration on emphasized words pass, pond, park in line 1. This free verse poem in the form of more of a prayer is a faith-centered poem that feels like a modern psalm as well. Nice revived post.

Thanks for reviewing my work and giving me the five stars.
I knew what alliteration was, but I don't think I had that thought when I wrote the poem. Thanks for mentioning it to me.

I like this prayer in a poem. It's elegant and clear. I like the longing in it, and the faith. I like the way the speaker sees the beauty of God in the world around them.

Between church and reading, I have learned that God is our healer, our provider and the right way to go.

What a stunning image of beautiful reflections at the top. I like your words of praise and the way you draw them together in the final stanza and apply them to your own goals for your own growth and treatment of others. Lovely work! :)

You make me proud that you took the time to review my poem.
After going to church and studying the word, you look at things a little different. You appreicate what God has done for us and what God will do in the future for us.

A beautiful and humble prayer that we all could learn a great deal from. God is everything good and he allows us to bask in his glory, as long as we have the humility and sense to just ask.
