thanks for letting us know you won't be posting next week. Have a great time at your son's wedding and know that we are all sitting on the edge of our seats waiting to find out what happens next. Great chapter, I enjoyed it very much.

Thoroughly enjoyable, as usual, Barbara.

"Unless you're in a tunnel that could cave-in any second. [Good for building suspense!]

There hasn't been any other choices." [Of course, to be correct, "There haven't." I don't know your character's grammar savvy.]

"Whatever that is, it sound good. [it sounds good.]

Wishing your son the best in his marriage, from all us at FanStory.

Another great chapter. Look forward to see where this is going. No spags! Yay! Definitely lots of intrigue and suspense in there.

Hi Barbara,

OK, so now it looks as if you've reunited them all, located the possible treasure hiding place and a skeleton (Bradley himself?) and getting set to trap them all again!

Nice - and then you tell us you won't be posting the next chapter until next week?

Hope the wedding goes well, I guess we'll just have to be patient.

Patrick

I will be writing in the car. The wedding is about 16 hours one way away. I hope to post as soon as I get back, but can't promise. Thank you for dropping by.

You end it in a cliff hanger, where life and death hangs in the air. Great idea, I would have done that too. :)

The women stopped in their tracks as {they} eyes widened.

-Are you sure about this usage. I only mention it because you used 'their' earlier.

You're right about the they. I have fixed it. Thank you for the catch.

That's what happens when the tunnel was built without a license contractor. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very strong read.

Well, I guess I can forgive you for attending your son's wedding and choosing him over me. LOL
Lots of suspense and excitement in this chapter - excellent dialogue that conveys the emotions of your characters. And it's interesting to see Cash is indicating his beliefs might be changing :-) Love the skeleton, by the way. Brooke

Thank you for the kind review and dropping by. I am thinking Andrew would have chosen to go to the JP. He's getting tired of wedding things.
