The picture caught my attention and I just had to read this. I have no idea what's happening but I loved the scene just the same. THe whole idea of a secret tunnel is just plain cooool! She threw down her crutches and kept going... very interesting. :)

Well they have made it this far. Let's hope they can get out of the tunnels before it caves in around them. Bradley wouldn't have gone to all of this trouble just to let them die, but I am curious as to whose skeleton that was. Guess you might have given us another clue. Have fun at the wedding.

You've given us another cliffhanger, Barbara, and lots of time to hang from the cliff. Have a great time at your son's wedding. This is very well written, by the way. :) nancy

Oh no! We are left up in the air again. I wonder if that skeleton is actually Bradley. As always I wish the story would continue. I have no suggestions.

Have a good time at the wedding.

This is really exciting. Definitely 6 stars! It's a good thing Bradley is still there to guide them. Always love it when there's some kind of hidden door in a mystery movie. The detectives always locate it. Excellent description and dialogue to add to the tension. Coming upon the corpse is surely a scare for Paige and Mary Pat. They locate the men, but then you leave us in suspense at the end of this with the rocks falling. We'll never know if there is a hidden treasure! judi

Very well done, Barbara. I enjoyed the creepiness of the skeleton and the way they found the lever to the other tunner. Of course, I love that they continued to be helped by Bradley.

Enjoy your son's wedding!

There hasn't been any other choices." - should be 'haven't' since 'choices' is plural.

Thank you for the six stars and the support of my writing. I appreciate both. Hugs and God Bless!
I was wondering about that hasn't myself. I wasn't sure how it would be said in grammar. I've been repeating that line and it comes up each way. We don't speak grammaticly correct. Or at least I don't.

You're most welcome, Barbara. Yes, that error is in dialogue too, so you could get away with it since people DO make mistakes when speaking, but thought I'd better mention it.

    Hugs back, dear lady!

Holy Smoke! You mean you are going to make us waiting for whole week with the roof caving in before we find out what happens next. At least Paige has Cash to keep her company while we wait.

I love the picture. Again you leave us in suspense and now we have to wait 2 weeks to find out more. I hope you enjoy your trip and the wedding goes well. Take care, my friend~Debbie

Another nice chapter with the most wonderful subtle humour. A very enjoyable read. The descriptions were good, the dialogue was good and the happy "not quite" ending was good as the coupled are reunited. Once again, you leave the reader with enough suspense to want to read on. Excellent job, Barbara.

This is written so well, it's like being in that tunnel with Mary Pat and Paige - the dialogue seems so natural, Barbara - both women are so real! I can't wait to find out who the skeleton is...(or who it was, I should say. LOL)

"Whatever that is, it sound(s) good." << one tiny typo - missing the 's'
