true .Together we have celebrated poetry and worshipped on the portals of Muse. Though my contribution is very little,(just one poem about the master craftsman Shakespeare) I am happy that i could follow your marathon effort.
I liked what you wrote about your family .especially about the first TV!Black and white ,wood cabinet! It took me back to my first Tv ,the same!Love , Santha.

We share similarities, smile, I am overwhelmed that you have even commented on this one. You are a dear friend. I am trying now to decide what to write. I would love to read some more of your work. Then I can pay you back with good reviews. LOL

This is a very interesting post that the author has created with this piece of writing. I remember I was about fourteen when we got our first TV as well. We had an old radio in the corner for years before that. I remember my classmates talking about tv shows and asking me if I saw them. I just lief and said that I was watching the other channel. I was too ashamed to say that we didn't have a tv.

I will never forget that day either. Dad saved for 'ages' to buy it. It definitely opened doors to entertainment, news, etc. We did not go to movies much, town was to far away, (and lack of money of course.) Thank you so much Tom, for your comments.

Carolyn, this Non-Fiction Writing Contest entry is timed well for the contest and serves as an inspiration to all who participated in the month-long endeavor. What fun. I haven't counted how many I did nor their designation since I frequently did 2 a day. A great effort for all. :0 GracieAnn

A well-written short bio of you along with a show of gratitude to your supporters. Got a kick out of your multi-tasking. I read during the TV commercials.

    Thanks Shari,
When you are from a big family or any situation which creates busyness, you have to multi-task. I can imagine you are doing a lot of that with Frank's illness to deal with. I think of you, a lot.

That is so good to hear. Reading is one of the most important things a child or anyone, for that matter can do. It opens doors of understanding that is incredible. My favorite all time book is the Bible. :-) Carolyn

Yes, "God Bless us, everyone".

It was fun to take the journey with you Caroline (even if I wasn't along every step of the way, I certainly enjoyed the parts that I was able to participate in).

Very pretty picture, Carolyn. It reminds me of AZ, but not sure if that is the state. You did great. I only have one that has reached all time best. I have quite a few that have been recognized. Great. Miss Sally

He was my favorite. And the scenes could sometimes literally terrorize me. I could just imagine being Jane an swingin' through the trees. Or scrambling only one(1) egg for his breakfast. An ostrich egg.....LOL.. So glad you enjoyed Movin' On. Luff you back, Carolyn

Did I watch Fury, are you kidding, we had a Shetland pony, not as tall as a yearling calf. And we named him Fury. In our imagination he was 16 hands high. You know, you and I should bio-write more of this stuff. Luff and goodnight. Carolyn
