Carolyn, this What Poetry Means To Me contest entry is well written and shares a sentiment that we writers feel. The freedom of speech is most precious. Well done. All the best in the contest! :0 GracieAnn

Thank you for the great review and best wishes. A win would be nice. And, yes, thank God for our freedom in the speech area. Sometimes I fear it is in grave danger. :-) Carolyn

Carolyn, you accepted and embraced the challenge of writing thirty-in-thirty. Different days brought different challenges in your own life, yet you managed to post one-a-day (not the vitamin).
It was a joy and an honor to read your posts on a daily basis. This poem took us on your trail for the past month. Nicely done and worded.

Smart move. You killed two birds with one stone in this final piece. It is fitting to mention the different forms and you've tried many. Kudos to you for completing the quest.

Just a terrific tribute to National Poetry Month. We truly are fortunate to have free speech in this country and that we possess the ability and fortitude to express it on paper.
Great job

Hi Carolyn
This is writing with a vengeance.
The tone, the vindictiveness, and the motivation ,all wrapped up in a parcel of determination,.what stamina, what urge, , what energy!
It look like an avalanche!
But i like it. It is the source of the spring. Let it flow.
Your opinion is your opinion. The world wants to know what you think, do not squirm to express. Be brave to accept the bad criticism.
God bless you and your family.

Thank you Benny, this is an energetic review as well. I would be less than honest, if I said, it was not a long month. However, National Poetry Month is over and now off to a new venture. I appreciate your fine comments and encouragement.
God bless you and your family too. I pray you are doing well and that a measure of peace is coming your way.
Love, Carolyn

Carolyn, I liked reading your approach to poetry in what it means to you. This month is finally over and you've accomplished a feat a most difficult one at that. In this particular palm I found your rhymes to be neither forced, labored or strained and it read most smoothly throughout your poem. This unique approach to a poetry means to you was most flattering in many respects. Thank you for sharing and posting this for others and may the Lord be with you always.
