That was a very soulful song. Asking Him to help one form a peaceful and meaningful existence and a safe passage.Once we reach Him we will no more be weary .I liked this very poem very much especially the first stanza.

Dear Carolyn - I am having a giggle to myself - it seems I am going in the opposite direction so reversing your count down....trying to catch up while still packing up a house is a tough one.:)
Great post, and well penned with your overall work bringing a calm to me as well.
Thanks for sharing it.

What a tender, nostalgic, beautiful and creative piece of writing.
I did tell you once that you are are very good at creative writing.
It is bound to come to bloom.
This is a most beautiful writing. I want to give you a six for it.but you will be more attracted to the six than the depth of this writing.
So i keep the six for another one, not to spoil this one

Good morning Benny, I enjoyed reading this sweet review of 'Sail me away.' Thank you for your kind comments. The best part is that you enjoyed the poem. ( When I grow up, I want to write like you.) I posted the last poem last night. I hope you will like Day 30 as well. Love, Carolyn

What a nice tribute to your father -in-law. I am sure he would love it. print it, frame it, and treasure it forever. I did this with a friend who passed away and have a couple of poems for my husband. Actually, I have more than that and wish I could get them published in a book. LOL. Miss Sally

I like this poem, Carolyn. This is all we can hope for at the end of our journey.
I enjoyed reading this poem. There's only one more poem coming for this month. You have done well.
I'm looking forward to warmer and calmer weather. Aren't you?

Carolyn, a very inspirational and stimulating spiritual poem.
I enjoyed reading it very much because I could feel the freedom along with serenity and bliss. In this foreign land use on your friends that greeted you and set your soul free from discernible loneliness. Thank you so much for sharing and posting this for others made the Lord be with you always.

This is such a comforting write, Carolyn. Good for you for sticking to your plan of writing for NaPoMo. I did that a few years ago. A poem a day - it was a wonderful journey, and I discovered many new forms in my desire to change things up through the month.
I'll bet you have too. I'm coming to this party rather late, but I must say, if this poem is an example, you've done very, very well.
Rose.

Hi Carolyn, what a great poem...I often think about when people talk about footprints in the sand...my brothers ashes were put in the water in Florida...he lived most of his life there...and I think how close he is to the shore to walk with God now...such a beautiful poem...and the perfect picture...Luff Linda xxoo
