He would have gathered them, but they would not, it is always a comfort and joy to know that if we seek him, he is there to hold us. Thank you Debbie, we never tire of hearing that someone is proud of us. There were a few days pending my father-in- laws funeral, that I wasn't sure if I would make it. I like the idea of this poem. I would suggest starting out with hand like you did, then changing it in the second stanza to 'Your Care' covers, and then changing it in the third stanza to 'Your Words' are there to raise me up...

In the hollow of Thy hand
There is gentleness and rest
very good starting and the repeating emphasize the message.God surly lightens our burden and steadies when we falter.
