I couldn't agree with you more. Sometimes we need to take a step back and see things through the eyes of a child. As we watch them experience new things, you can see the wonder and amazement in their faces. That is something money can't buy.

Absolute perfection in poetry form. I think as we get older, the tendency is just to be naturally jaded. We've "been there, done that and seen it all." It's all crap, but we feel that way.
I often watch my younger ones react to new things and all the wonder the world has to offer and feel nostalgic. I wish I could remember what it was like to think of the world as miraculous all the time.
Thank you for posting this. It is definitely a much needed shock to the system to read a tale of hope and beauty, especially from you.

    Hah, yes, I would imagine that it is, especially from me, T.J. I don't know what came over my muse that day. For some reason, he lowered his dark, eerie demeanor and allowed this to come through.

    You are right, to just have that magic back as we viewed our world as children would be wonderful. However, we can regain some of it simply by watching how kids interact with each other, and look at everything around them with awe and wonderment. That's what keeps me young at heart, my friend.

    Thanks so much again for your outstanding rating and review, my friend. All is greatly appreciated!

We are always in a hurry. It is like we do not have much time . Sometime we didn't notice what is in front of us.We should learn from everything and from everyone how to live and how to enjoy life.Great poem.

A wonderful poem of appreciation of life and enjoying the moment. I think as we get older we do slow down to almost where we were in childhood. The scurrying here and there is gone and we take the time to bask in small things. Your writing is lovely and, as always, hits the mark.

I love your sweet (not usually your style:)) little poem and great advice in the author notes. I went birding today on my day off - just enjoyed the nature all day.

Is it true, we gain wisdom with age;

couldn't we all learn a thing or two?

From the youngest of God's creatures;

smaller versions of me and you.~

Maybe wisdom is born of innocence instead of ripening with age. Nice walk across the street for you. Love the animation and the art work.
