To be like a butterfly - free and wild and follow the scent of the fresh flowers.
Fluttering on paper wings, our dreams can fly so softly and peacefully by.
Look, another butterfly of blue, yellow and green again - another pleasant dream to think about perhaps, smiles.
Great write and excellently penned with an easy flow.

But before being a butterfly, we must all be caterpillars. Not many have the stomach for that. " singing their silent song/ beneath paper wings"- excellent analogy to writing.

I'm not sure what happened. I went in my profile and the picture was changed back to the one of me by myself - how I don't know. I was trying to change it and now I deleted it - lol. I don't have the wedding picture on this computer so I have to do it from home. Darn computers anyway!

The only time I ever saw butter fly, is when my ex threw a stick of it at me. This was an excellently written piece of poetic art. It was written on a very positive thoughts process. I enjoyed reading and responding to it... John

Nicely rhymed free floating poem. I have to ask, which came first, the picture or the poem? The colors match incredibly well. Your poem paints a storybook kind of picture of the butterfly. You have some ideas woven in that I would never have thought of, like whispering wisdom and blowing kisses of peace. Lovely phrases.

Thanks Anita for the awesome review. I wrote the poem first and found the picture to go with it. Butterflies make me think of my Dad who passed away 15 years ago. He, though, would be a plain and simple butterfly, yellow in color I think:)
