I am fully with you in this desire. I have often envies butterflies and birds for how they flit and fly aroung .Total freedom in the vast space of the sky!.I enjoyed reading this and thanks for posting.

Awesome! you already won me over with the butterflies, how majestic and beautiful. I like beneath paper wings. And whisper words of wisdom is nice. That last quatrain is really special. Excellent

A beautiful poem about one of nature's most beautiful creatures. Their lives are short but in those breif few days, they offer a fascination with their many colours. My personal favourite is the Monarch. As children, we used to raise them on milk weed plants and watch them emerge from the chrysalis.
