Not sure what the word count is, but it feels low--500? and I got a sense of being cut short just as I was ready to relax and go back into this world.
Reader's attention span at FS is limited and shorter chapters, possibly 1000-1500 words, but in the real world, even that is short.
The writing continues at your high quality, but there's not much to comment about here.
Is 'suicides' a common exercise in sports? If not in common usage, I'd reconsider, but that's about the only thing that stands out.

It was low. I do like to keep my chapters really short, because I gear to the reluctant reader and I use a lot of dialogue to tell my story. If my twelve year old will make it through a chapter I figure it is the perfect length. He bucks and protests at anything nearing 2000 words. Thank you for the great review. Suicides are a very common basketball exercise. It is painful and tiring and earned the name suicide. LOL. Thanks again. Gretchen
