Well, that was a pretty good set up, and you did a good job selling the punch line and making it quite unexpected. Very clever expanding a joke in to mini-story. Well done.

You get five stars for a great enticing title! I'm terribly obedient sometimes. This story read quickly with a funny quip at the end. I didn't notice any glaring SPAG issues.

A very interesting story and the ending was quite funny too. Health issues related to fat are well known and the problem is: taking weight off is difficult while putting it on is easy.
It a tug of war like this husband and wife tale and there are no winners.
He wins today and lose out to weight the next day. Looks like the doctor will have to write a few more letters as the case may be, smiles.
