Well done. Good description of Easter routine and the reminder of the real meaning is an added benefit The sonnet style is nicely written. Good job!

This is a strong entry into the Sonnet Poem writing prompt. It is well written and this presentation is great. Contest requirements fulfilled in spades. I enjoyed this. Good luck in the contest.

Your love for Christ shines through with this poem of the true meaning of Easter. Your words capture the images of those things we humans tend to associate with the Easter season. Best of luck in the contest. Blessings, Linda

This is a nice fourteen-line poem, but of course is not really a sonnet since it has no iambic pentameter. But I rated it 5 because the rules of this contest say that doesn't matter. Good luck, Jeanie Mercer

I love that you have shared the true meaning of Easter, while still celebrating the childhood memories. Your rhyming is great and best I can tell, meets the contest requirements. By the way, I was munching on a Cadbury egg when I clicked on this. How weird is that, lol.
