This is a lovely Easter write, well written, with good rhyme and rhythm. I like the opening and closing verses bringing in nature and through the sparrow and dolphin representing all animals.I see you are from Adelaide, I live in Townsvill NQ now but formerly from Paradise, in Adelaide's N.E. suburbs.

Well hello Pearl, there's a few of us online, there are a lot more Americans, but that's ok. We used to live in Athelstone, but now Elizabeth Park! We have been through Townsville on two occasions! Oh what a great poem, with a picture that brings feeling of shame and regret for how we treat him. Yet he loves us, no matter what we do. Good word flow and rhyming, tell of our savior and what his love, compelled him to do.
