Beautiful artwork and coloring chosen to accompany your poem on nature at Easter. Solid rhyme used which makes the poem easy to read. Very nice writing.
Kind regards
Sarah

Somehow your poetry reminds me of William Blake's relationship to Mother Nature. They say simplicity is the highest wisdom. Beneath your style lurks some profundity. And of course we are treated to the charm of your imagery. Happy Easter. -Ekim777

Hah, only you would think to wax poetic about the colors in a box of Crayola Crayons, Brooke, but it did it so brilliantly! Of course, it would have to be the BIG! 64 pack selection, and not the standard 24 count box. I know, I use a lot of crayons in my own art, often opting for the cigar-shaped box of 124 different colors, with the built-in crayon sharpener, lol.
A lovely poem for Easter, my talented friend. Well done!

Thank you so much, Dean. When I was little I always had the 64 count box, and so I bought that box for my kids, and now my daughter buys it for her son. I love tradition LOL :-) Brooke

I spent this Easter around my family and I really enjoyed the love that surrounded me. I enjoyed reading this excellent piece of poetic art. You have good colorful ways of expounding words poetically... John

Hi Brooke,
This is a very nice poem. I love everything about it and also the picture you found to go with it. The background color goes so well with the picture too. I love Sawyer's bunny picture too.

Beautiful flow in the quatrains. I can close my eyes and visualize a spreading field as the colors flow in the breeze. Many new colors and names in a box of crayons now a days. It's wonderful as is your use of the colors describing the flowers. Rubylou

I love poems about colors. I have one I wrote years ago as a first time teacher.
as they show off the finery
of brand new Easter clothes. [I love this line of giving the flowers a human quality of wearing clothes]
