Beautifully expressed, I like this poem. The flowers, as well, complementing the theme, are beautiful. A metaphor is used in this poem. And the last part, the writer, used personification. I love reading it. And I appreciate the tone and theme of the poem. Congratulations. Dom

With the splash of colors in your accompanying illustration, it is rather stingy to miss out glorifying the others. Your whites and blues take prominence in the foreground. The reds and violets take center stage. The golds and orange plead not to be left out.

Since this is writing about colors, these living plants of various hues are there to pleasure not only our eyes. Insects and birds come and partake of their share of the sweet nectar and in the process contribute to the cycle of reproduction and the perpetuation of beauty.

Awesome and such amazing colours too.
Children have so much fun whilst learning these days-a far cry from
My childhood.
Very descriptive and well written quatrains which demonstrate well the
Craycola colours learnt.
A delightful fun poem.

And your words are just as vibrant in the description of springs glory. I like how you have used perwinkle and magenta they give such a flair to poem. Good stuff there, Brooke.

What a cutie this one is. Each blade of grass. I enjoyed the colors you incorporated into the poem. Ones not usually found in daily conversation. Periwinkle and magenta, Good words, great sounds. I would love to hear Sawyer saying them. LOL Well done Brooke, :-) Carolyn

I can tell you must have a little bit of 'spring happy' going on with flowers smiling at Easter time. Down here, it's autumn, but the roses are still creating a pre-winter show. Your three verses are great. They sparkle through the content, the word choices, but especially through your great rhythm. It's just a lovely moment of poetic celebration.

A very engaging poem in praise of this time of the year! I love the easy and joyful manner in which its written, Brooke, this is a nice languid style that you are very good at! You have a way of relaxing the reader! Written 8-6 syllable, which is always a good meter choice! Blessings, Roy.
