Aha! Sneaked the cobwebs in very cleverly in the very last sentence - well done.
Just a tiny technical thing, but in sentences like this:
" Labradors love each other very much", she continued.
the comma should come inside the quotation marks - you seem to do it right with other punctuation, just a glitch with your commas...
