Your lament is well written.... We are all hooked on reality tv....the dreams and ruminations when we used to gaze at the stars and enjoy the evenings outdoors are long gone, I fear. Nice rhyme and rhythm and a true heartfelt message.

Hi Tony, I don't watch much TV at all anymore...don't even like to watch the news...a movie once in awhile...but I hate the reality shows...very well said and very well written...a great picture...luff Linda xxoo

Reality tv makes me want to get rid of the tube too. Gimme a sitcom any day of the week. I'll be loving it.
This is a well thought out poem. Expressive and beaming with creativity. It is clearly written with lots of drama. Great flow of rhythm and rhymes. Fabulous work.

This reminds me of a Ray Bradbury short story where a man who doesn't own a tv is amazed at the control of his fellow man by their TV sets...we are there in this society....your reminder is timely and wise and I appreciate it
