Consider:
She swam with AN Orca
Mad Mike, mechanic from Twickenham love the 'm's
And Boom! he achieved 'tomic fission 9 beats'flows better

Loved the threesome. Verrry funnny! Above are suggestions only. No disrespect intended.

Loved your limerick(s)! I especially liked the one about the physicist-mathematician. All very cleverly done and totally within the syllable requirements :) I am looking forward to trying a limerick soon. Thanks for sharing. acerisestory

I'm no expert on limericks but I find these limericks full of dark humor quite successful.

Great rhymes and wonderful rhythm.

I like the alliteration in Mad Mike, mechanic.

Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest. These are great!

Very innovative humor limerick.
Snorted uranium
Into his cranium
And Boom! he achieved nuclear fission

couldn't get funnier than this.
Good luck in the contest

This is a great series of limericks and not bawdy just humorous for the writing prompt. Good luck in the contest.

Hi Poet,

I think you did a great job in writing your limerick poem with three verses. It was fun to read and interesting too. Great job!

I used to write limericks to my girlfriend in high school. One actually made her laugh so loud, she got detention. I wonder where that girl is now? I think limericks are an art form and their fun. Good luck.

    Thank you.

Perhaps you could write a limerick about her...

Limerick, never heard of this style until this site. Your poem is really funny. And it reminded me of the saying, that people who are expert at what they love is eventually consumed or destroyed by it.

Does that mean I will be consumed by a Limerick?! :o)
