Where have you been Pili? This poem is a very sweet poignant of a good-bye and I take it that your family visited you which is wonderful. I am almost afraid to ask you about your health so I will just say instead, that I hope with all my heart that you are doing better. xx Carol

You are so right, I came from Europe married to an American, leaving my family behind, had my children here, and my children end living in Europe me here... Life is unpredictable indeed. But was such a wonderful visit !!!! Thank you my friend, obviously you know.... Pili

Ahhhhh, the great homecoming. There's something hidden here, though. It can't all be the sweetness of arrival without the contrasting departure from something less. Is there a love lost, career hopes shattered, both, neither... something though. Your poem begs the reader to search what isn't said.
