Sounds very much like...abuse, which., if I have to rank crimes against humanity, this is right up there. Very unusual way of presenting a poem, but a very effective way of doing it! It's very hard to cut off someone you've been committed to! Good luck! Blessings, Roy.

Good end rhyming with four/door...eight/hate...twelve/delve...pain/sane. Good perfect rhyming with find/bind. Good description and alliteration. Good eye catching photo followed by a clear message.

This starts off with a light-hearted air that takes an eerie turn when you realize the subject matter. This is well written with a strong message. The last lines are strong evoking strong emotion.

good allusion to the one potato/two potato saying

How sad that this domestic violence even exists but to have a friend close to you who is suffering brings it so close to home. You are a good friend to be helping this person to find relief. Very poignant poem with a very strong message, Giddy

This holds a very poignant message of abuse and pain. It's one of the most difficult relationships to break free from. It can leave one feeling unworthy of a better existence, that somehow they deserve the mess they're in. It's important to have family & friends who can help someone find their freedom and it's good that your friend has you. Excellent topic to write about.

I hope she will have a smooth as possible transition and a lot of support. The poem is shocking when it describes violence so matter-of-factly.
