I like the idea of the poem. I can tell you put a lot of thought into it but it doesn't flow very well. You rely too much on the rhyming to connect the words where you would do much better to forget the rhyming and just focus on the flow.

History leads the wise and drags the fool- excellent line and sadly so true. With the amount of times that history- mainly in a negative sense- repeats itself, the wise must be in short supply.
