I love the poem. Naughty Mary found the fatten lamb too tempting. Lamb chops, yum! Human nature overcomes fantasy. I would have kept the lamb for wool. Great work. Good luck with the contest.

What an interesting angle on the traditional tale -and a fun look at it too - hunger is indeed a 'good sauce' and can lead us to do we know not what LOL

I can relate to this famous nursery rhythm so fitting of a twist of words for today as we eat the meat of the lamb. The perfect Naani poem writing prompt entry.
