Willowsong, An intense and very emotionally powerful piece of poetry. My understanding of behind cold steel bars being imprisoned by the longing for love however being also betrayed lockstep door forevermore until he see of life and love reopens it. I love this poem--the essence of love it was portraying--the pain of love that is trying to deceive someone by his/her own emotions. I have two interpretations for this short poem.
A man in prison and his lover still in love with him that she is still longing to embrace him...or the other way around: the lady in prison, still loving the man...her feelings betraying her and wants to embrace the man. I am inclined to believe the first one.

A very emotionally sad poem written is just a few words, but conveys a story of years. Those bars do separate many parents from their children and it can be hard for a child to understand why it must happen. Well done.
